This is the perfect editor for a XFCE4 desktop. No more gedit and all it's stupid gnome dependencies.
Edit1: And it takes only 30 seconds to download and build with makepkg!!!

I agree - I'm anxiously awaiting XFCE 4.2, it seems to address some of the things that keep me using gnome over xfce. Gnome is just getting too complex for my taste - I like simple, functional window managers / desktops and the new xfce just might be close to perfect.

I really enjoy Leafpad, I feel it's the perfect implementation for what it's supposed to do . Great job on it, much appreciated.
And btw, off topic, I've been using xfce4.2rc1 since it came out and so far have not had any problems whatsoever with it. And I do abuse it .
