CDMA modem

Does anyone know how to get a CDMA modem working with Arch.  I've got a verizon expresscard modem that works good with Ubuntu so I'm hoping I can get it working with Arch.  It's my only internet connection at the moment.  If it won't work, I'll have to install packages manually which I'm not looking forward to.
