Freeciv: can't run scenarios [SOLVED]

I installed Freeciv. I'd like to play the "tutorial" scenario.

However, when I want to start it, it says in a text console inside the Freeciv window: "Not enough human players, game will not start.".

I didn't find any way to join as human player though! Also, I tried opening a second Freeciv client and connecting to localhost, but then it says I'm already connected.

Also strange is that, after I use "Pick Nation", my nation and ruler name appear next to something called <AI> in a list, but I didn't find any way to make clear that I'm a human...

What are the exact steps I should follow to play the "Tutorial" scenario with Freeciv, single player or with computer opponents?

EDIT: found it, I had to right click and say "Take this player" on the <AI>, then it became me smile
