Hello. I have a problem with adjusting time-settings in GNOME. It shows time + 2 hours. I have the correct time in BIOS, and when running "date" without X. It doesn't matter if I have "UTC" or "local" in rc.conf. X shows the same time with both settings. Where can I change it. My timezone is correct "Europe/Stockholm". I'm running arch x86_64.

I have the similar problem. After each restart date is ~ 10 minutes ahead. Doesn't matter if I use UTC or set time manually.

To know or not to know ...
... the questions remain forever.

Have you tried OpenNTPD?

My adjtime looks like this:
0.000000 1242545697 0.000000
1242545697
UTC
so I don't think that my problems is in that file.
Now I have 2 hours + even without X running "date". I haven't deleted adjtime but I will try that.

ntp -s -d corrected time.

Sorry. I found the solution. It was a setting on the desktop. Just rightclick the clock and give it correct place. Strange that GNOME controls settings in shell. I'm a little embarrased of the easy fix. Thanks for your help.
