I have had problems with mounting my usb drive and I already solved some, but when I try to mount it on desktop (using Xfce) it says mount: only root can mount /dev/sdc1 on /media/usb. I can mount it via terminal but this is annoying. What's the solution that it would mount automatically as root?

It doesn't help - I already had this before.

Can you post your /etc/fstab?
