Kernel Panic - Not Syncing

Hello.

I have a problem. I've just installed Arch Linux on my 20' iMac and get this error while running (it works fine if I run fallback):

kinit: init not found
Kernel panic - not syncing: attempted to kill init!

Could you guys help me?

Thanks,
Dev

Re: Kernel Panic - Not Syncing

what about typing

# mkinitcpio -p kernel26

init not found means "no root found". So, have a look at /etc/mkinitcpio.conf if you have all the modules you require to boot properly.

See ya.

They say that if you play a Win cd backward you hear satanic messages. That's nothing! 'cause if you play it forwards, it installs windows.
