Last night when i attempted to run audacious in the background while a youtube video was playing i noticed it refused to play. I tried other things and they do work like vlc + firefox mplayer + vlc vlc + mplayer and those all work without interfering with each other. The problem seems to be with audacious only i also tried changing the audio output to oss and it didnt solve the issue either. It is like audacious is hogging the sound server.:/
i ran audacious from the terminal and tried to play a song while something else was playing this is what it said

keep in mind that alsa is mixing everywere else just not in audacious even though it used to work up until just recently.
