"freez X with openchrome"

Hello Al:-)
l m here again. i had install "Archlinux" last month on my pc. i install "openchrome" drivers  but when i start X then the X freez and my system become freez mouse move very slowlly after one minute and no keystrokes work's after that then i had to start it manully.  the same problem with "via" drivers

"now i am using  'vesa ' drivers its works fine but   when i play a video in vlc its color changed. and when i use firefox soe websites fonts become too short.

someone suggest me for open-chrome.

well im using openchrome + xorg 1.6.1, the main problem is NO 3D support -yet-. its work fine here.

what chipset do you have?? mine is via vn896 (chrome9)

VIA K8M800-CE + VT8237R Chipset
Amd Sempron 2800+
512 DDR RAM

i tried both but problem by Same

I am also using openchrome and it always freezes my X. Using VESA  X works fine but with much lower res. and poor quality of X. Here is my hardware:
