Listing Manual Pages

Is there a simple way to list all man pages in the given section?

man -wK 1 ''

This command lists the whole paths, and it's very slow.

Try apropos -s 1 ''
I did not know about this apropos command until I looked at the manpage for man just now. Good stuff!

Thanks, I forgot to look at apropos.

Can anyone share their tips on how to learn new commands? What about some web resources? I like the Arch Newsletter for example.
