Can't connect bluetooth mouse [solved]

I can't connect my Logitech m-rbb93 bluetooth mouse. I have a USB bluetooth dongle.

Can't get device information: Host is down

A few months ago on my previous install of Arch it would work with just that, but now it doesn't. I tried all forms of holding the "reset" button on the mouse during/before connecting, but to no avail.

Any ideas on where to look?

Re: Can't connect bluetooth mouse [solved]

If there's a "connect" button on the bottom somewhere, make sure to press it so the light on top starts blinking or something like that (this means it's been made discoverable).

(From my experiences with a Logitech v470.)

I tried that. I just got it to connect under Windows 7, but still can't get it to connect in Arch.

Re: Can't connect bluetooth mouse [solved]

It works now. I was using the -connect flag, but when I changed to --connect (two dashes) it connected fine. The man page said that --connect was the correct flag, so I'm surprised it didn't throw an error when I was giving it the invalid -connect flag.

I did change the batteries (someone here said they had a similar problem and changing the batteries fixed it) as well, but I'm sure it was the flag that was the solution.
