Arch installation not in GRUB. How can I add it from Ubuntu?

Hi all.

I've just installed arch linux for the first time. Because I already have a Ubuntu install, I skipped the GRUB installation part, thinking it would erase my ubuntu entries.

The problem now is that GRUB doesn't show an entry for arch linux. I suppose I need to add the entry in the menu.lst file, but I don't know how to find out the name of the kernel and the uuid of the partition (I tried to mount the partition in ubuntu to figure it out but my ubuntu can't handle ext4 partitions).

Is there any other way to boot into arch and fix grub?

Edit:

I've tried editing the menu.lst file by adding the following arch linux entries:

title Arch Linux
root (hd0,1)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz26 root=/dev/sda4 ro vga=773
initrd /boot/kernel26.img

However, when trying to boot, I get the 'Cannot mount the selected partition' error.

Edit (SOLVED):

Apparently I should've used (hd0,3) instead of (hd0,1). Now I feel stupid... hmm Anyway I'm up and running now.
