Mouse freeze

I have a problem with frozen mouse today.
(It was working OK until yesterday.)
So I killed X process then,
my console error messege is as shown:

ALSA lib pcm_hw.c:490: (snd_pcm_hw_delay)
SNDRV_PCM_IOCTL_DELAY failed:
file descriptor in bad state

Could you tell me what I did  wrong?
How I can overcome this problem?

Re: Mouse freeze

After restarting X, does your mouse work correctly again?

If my mouse acts up, I usually kill X, unload its modules and reload them again, then restart X. That usually does the trick. If not, I reboot the computer and everything's fine again.

On my desk I have a workstation.

Re: Mouse freeze

try flipping the hardware cursor option of your video card, if you have one - if it's on, flip it off, or off->on...

dunno, worth a shot

Re: Mouse freeze

Thank you your advice.
It started work again.
This is first time I could configure sound.
I am enjoying ARCHLINUX & background music very much.
