I have somehow lost / can not recall my root password.
I have access to the machine and sudo works.
Is there a way to use sudo to reset my root password?
Thanks for any and all help.

Hi
You can use this command to change the password of root
sudo passwd
It will ask you for the new password.
EDIT: Was not fast enough.
