alsa - no sound with nonroot user

Ive managed to have my soundcard working by running alsaconf utility as root. However, when I reboot Arch I have to run alsaconf again - otherwise, sound won`t work.
Besides, sound does not work with nonroot users - i cant run alsaconf as nonroot. I cant even run alsamixer with nonroot user, it gives me the following error: "function snd_ctl_open faield for default: No such file or directory".

More info: My sound card is Intel Corporation 82801H (ICH8 Family)  [hda-intel]

How to solve it?
Thanks in advance

Re: alsa - no sound with nonroot user

add alsa to the start-up daemons and your user to the audio group

Ok, can you tell me how to do it, or point me some links that explains that?
Thanks!
