[Pulseaudio] System wide equalizer , Alsa , PCM device (unsolved)

Hello

A week ago I post this thread : http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=73133

But the equalizer that I install make pulseaudio crash randomly.

I tried to make the system wide equalizer describe in this thread : http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=789578
but when I launch pulseaudio, I have this output :

D: alsa-util.c: Trying equalized with SND_PCM_NO_AUTO_FORMAT ...
I: alsa-util.c: Error opening PCM device equalized: No such file or directory
E: module.c: Failed to load  module "module-alsa-sink" (argument: "device=equalized"): initialization failed.

E: main.c: Failed to initialize daemon.

but :

mplayer -ao alsa::device=equalized my.mp3

work perfectly...

I don't understand why pulseaudio refuse to start ...

Could you help me please...

PS :
I also discover alsaequal ... which permit to configure the equalizer in real-time. But there is some problems with gstreamer when alsaequal is the default pcm device...
Nevertheless it is still a good tool ...
