Eclipse crashed on start

Hello guys,

I want to use eclipse for c/c++ programming. I istalled eclipse with pacman using:

pacman -Sy eclipse

and then

pacman -Sy eclipse-cdt

The installation went ok then when i try to run eclipse i see the splash screen then it disapears and nothing happens. So i ran it using a terminal and this is the output i got:

No since I used the compressed version found in their webpage instead of using the PKGBUILD from arch. If you can try that one decompress it and see if it crashes, It could be something related to the pkg or maybe a problem with your java runtime environment (jre).

Hmm i'll try that.

EDIT: The compressed version also crashes with the same output.

I had the same problem with the package but worked fine with the download from their site.

I'm having this same problem. I haven't tried the package from the site, though.
