In response to this question http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=73169 for info on how to harden a system, I've added a new page to the wiki called Hardening Guides. The idea is for the page to be a list of links for interested people to refer to. There are many web pages that have little hints and ideas, so it could start to get messy if we throw everything link we've collected over the years straight in there, so preferrably the emphasis is on coherent, complete guides. The first one (AusCERT Checklist v3.0) is certainly that, and the second one, while it doesn't have the same excellent start to finish (dare I say 'holistic') view, has so much info in there that I think it's hard to ignore.
I've added this page into the following categories:
* Security (English)
* File systems (English)
* HOWTOs (English)
I guess that the page isn't an actual howto in ittself, but leads to howtos/guides. Not sure if this follows ArchWiki rules or not? Let me know, can remove from that category if preferred.
Seem OK?
Cheers,
vW
