im going on a camping trip soon ,and taking my eeepc running arch with me.
i was looking online, maplin have a 3 mobile broadband usb adapter , pay as you go for £30.
has any one got these working with arch?

were gone be living in the car for a few days, then climbing , so its nice 2 have abit of access 2 detailed weather forecasts before we go.
i have heared they work with ubuntu NBR, so i assume they can work in arch, i just dont know how.

i have installed gnome-network manager, i can find the connection and configure it (this is a 3g adapter i have with no sim for some reason)

I used gammu to pull my txt mesages off my 3 dongle.
It sends txts as well, but I don't use it for that much.

I was hoping for somthing that would sit in the notification area, and notify me when i receive somthing. but this did the job fine
looked at a front end for called wammu , looks cool.
