Hello out there,
I was looking for a new distro because my old one has very poor support for my graphics hardware. Two days ago I installed Arch on an external hdd and some very friendly users on the IRC helped me to get it running (booting) from USB. With kernel 2.6.29 and very up-to-date Intel drivers the graphics performance is much better than on the other distros I tried so far.
I am currently exploring the new world of Arch and what I have seen so far is really great. The decision to switch to Arch as my primary OS has still to be made, but I guess I'm on a good way to do that.

Hey everyone,
Just moved over to an Arch installation a few days ago. Was running Gentoo exclusively since 2002, but decided that it was time for something new, a friend of mine mentioned Arch so I installed it. So far I am really liking it, reminds me of Gentoo in a lot of the good ways, without all the compiling.
See everyone around the forums!

Hello to all,
Just installed Arch and configured kdemod to run on it. Xorg gave me some hard time but after figuring that out everything went smoothly. I don't know why but, arch gives me a feeling of being exactly where I belong, which is unusual since have only been using it for a day. I have been runnning Ubuntu on my main computer since 6.06 which is 3 years if I'm not mistaken.

Hello all!
I started using Linux because of Ubuntu ~3 years ago, and am approaching 1 year with Arch.
I now use it exclusively on all three of my computers and I've noticed that I'm slowly unlearning how to use Windows
Arch is basically perfect.

Hi Everyone,
I found Arch while searching for the perfect distribution for my Aspire One. Needless to say, I found it.. Arch. Unlike with other distros, I've been able to solve any issue I've encountered by reading the wiki or searching the forums.
Outstanding distro, outstanding documentation, and an outstanding community. That's the Arch difference.
Currently running Arch with kdemod on the Aspire and I couldn't be happier.
Thanks to the Devs and the contributing community!

Howdy! Running Arch in VM at the moment. Don't have another machine lying around to run it on.

Hiya everyone. I have yet to install Arch but once I receive my laptop, (should be this week, Dell is rather slow) I will. I can't wait for it to come.
I have been looking for a few weeks for the perfect distro. The thing that distinguished Arch from the other, was the excellent documentation and community around Arch.
Hope to see you all around.

Ah well, never noticed this topic. Well, I've been playing around with Arch for almost 2 weeks now, currently reinstalling x86_64 version to support all my 4GB of ram
Have already added a thing or two at the wiki and expect to contribute much more once I tackle all the remaining exams

Hello everyone. I have been a GNU/Linux user for ten years coming back to a more non-graphical Linux from Ubuntu and Fedora. Love Slackware but is going to keep Arch Linux to stay a little more on the bleeding edge.

Hello, I am using Arch in a VBox right now but still very eager to learn more. I am currently on Linux Mint but want to get my hands a little more dirty. I hope I succeed!

Hello. I'm replacing my old Mandriva with Arch because I like its rolling release system. I like incremental updates. Downloading and installing a new release, which is "all or nothing package", just wastes my Internet connection...

Salut !
Been using different distro for quite a long time, but i never been digging enough to satisfy my geek side.
Maybe Arch will be the good balance for me.

Hello,
US guy here. Have been using various forms of Linux for awhile. First one was Mandrake after I got a Windows ME box. Have been using Ubuntu/Slackware for a while on the desktop and laptop and now decided to jump to Arch on both. Arch seems to have everything I love about Linux and nothing I hate about other distros. Hopefully I can help in some way to give back to the people to make this all possible.
