[SOLDEV] whereis /dev/ttyUSB0?

EDITED: The solution was load a module: pl2303 for Prolific USB xD....

First.. sorry for my english xD..

Well, my problem is:

I have my laptop running Arch with:
kernel 2.6.29-ARCH
udev 141-1
hal 0.5.12git20090421.4fc367-2
dbus 1.2.14-1

I hava a basic stamp (a microcontroller) connected to my laptop with a usb-serial cable converter...
Before my last install of arch i was working with this without no problem (my last install was 2 weeks ago), but now when  i connect the microcontroller to my laptop i can't use it because the port (/dev/ttyUSB0) doesn't exists.. and i don't know other port to work...
before this problem.. dmesg show the port that the usb thing will be attached (/dev/ttyUSB0), but now dmesg show only this:

usb 5-1: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and adress 11
usb 5-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice

and if i search for /dev/ttyUSB0 i can't find it...

what can i do?

i really need to work with this...

i try a lot of thing... i was modify hal policys, udev rules but nothing works...

any idea?

Thanks in advice...
