Hi, i was surprised when i figured out that i cannont mount my cdrom.
I have 2 DVD trays. I cant mount cd's in one of them. But in the other i get this:
org.freedesktop.hal.storage.mount-removable no <-- (action, result).
I did some chmod there and i got this error:
(exo-mount:5520): Gtk-WARNING **: Imposible encontrar el motor de temas en la ruta al _modulo: «ubuntulooks»,
(exo-mount:5520): Gtk-WARNING **: Imposible encontrar el motor de temas en la ruta al _modulo: «crux-engine»,
org.freedesktop.hal.storage.mount-removable no <-- (action, result)
For the one who doesnt speak spanish, the traslation will be:
(exo-mount:5520): Gtk-WARNING **: Cannot find theme at al _module: «ubuntulooks»,
(exo-mount:5520): Gtk-WARNING **: Cannot find theme at al _module: «crux-engine»,
org.freedesktop.hal.storage.mount-removable no <-- (action, result)
I googled this, but all that i found was "chmod a+rwx /dev/cdrom0.. " and things like that, but still dont work

For the first one: you need to set up PolicyKit. As for your second error, that looks to me like a missing engine. Can't tell for sure though since I never had that kind of problem .

Ive already solved the firs error. The second one is giving me some headache.

I can't see how the Gtk-WARNING stuff could have anything to do with mounting CDs. What are you using to mount your drives? Where are you picking up these errors?

Is strange to me too. It happens like this:
1- Put my CD in the disc tray
2- A CD icon appears on the desktop
3- I click on it, and i get thet error.
Also, im running XFCE, not GNOME

That is strange to me, but I have to ask, how/where does the error appear? On the console or does it show up in a message dialog?

In a message dialog.

You could also try with http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=26195 which does the job without the whole policykit mess.
