dosemu crashes

I've used dosemu for a long time now, with the same setup and commands, now 'all of the sudden' I'm getting this error...

# sudo dosemu -s "rtload16.exe bpph.hex /R64 /P0x378 /H /I64"

Running as root in full feature mode
ERROR: PORT: conflicting devices: Parallel printer & std port io for port 0x378
ERROR: cpu exception in dosemu code outside of VM86()!

boom, dosemu has stopped working here. anyone knows this cause/solution ?

Ive done some googling but turned up only old *buntu bug reports and stuff that goes back to sometime around 2.6.12rc1..

I'm at a loss and i need dosemu to run some eeprom buring tools I have.

Re: dosemu crashes

It looks an issue with the /P0x378 option.
Without knowing any more than that can you change the printer port in the BIOS and reassign it on the command line?
I always used NET USE to reassign printer ports to other windows machines on the network - sometimes on the other side of the VPN.
