getting local language keyboard runnin

hello
im new to arch linux(used mint and ubuntu) and love the way of arch.
now,i set up the system with xfce4.
i cant get local keyboard language running or any doc about it.
how do i set up hebrew keyboard?

Using the current packages I did not need to touch 10-keymap.fdi
I guess you have enabled and installed hebrew locales (they aren't installed by default), and changed the system settings in /etc/rc.conf
For me it's for greek laguage, but it shouldn't be different for hebrew.

If you have a non-US keyboard layout you can interactively choose your keymap/console font with the command:
# km

i did not install..
i changed the keymap file and it worked but now i got no english only hebrew

i managed to install the language thanks for helping out .
now how do i make it to change language with keyboard instead going to menu and switching between them..(like alt+shift in windows)

If you install the XFCE4 "keyboard layouts" panel plugin, it should have the keyboard shortcut for toggling layouts as a setting, plus a diffrent key for composing.
