Hi,
I've got two boxes with Arch/KDE4 on them. The theme settings are exactly the same (QtCurve for everything); all the apps behave as they should, except for VLC. On one box it looks QtCurve, on another it looks Oxygen. Why?

What do you get when you run "qtconfig" ?

Right you are ... In one case GUI Style turned out to be 'Desktop Settings (Default)', in another 'Oxygen'. Replacing 'Oxygen' with 'Desktop Settings (Default)' did the trick, naturally.
Thanks!

Glad you solved it.
Actually, if you're using KDE4, under the qtcurve theme settings there is an option to export the current theme, color settings and fonts to non-kde qt4 and qt3 apps.
For gtk apps only the theme and the colors are set- the fonts must be set manually to your ~.gtkrc-2.0 by using, say, "lxappearance" (it is not dependent to lxde in any way).
