MIDI without Timitdity???

Is there a way I can get MIDI to work without having to use timidity? If not, can anyone reccomend me some good soundfonts? Also, I can't get MIDI to work while running SC2000. (on wine)

Personally, I'd rather be back in Hobbiton.

As for your second question, I also recommend Airfont 340.

I second Airfont.  It makes old games sound gorgeous!

Re: MIDI without Timitdity???

I got a Roland soundfont, it's perfect. But I still need to SimCity 2000 to play MIDI, whcih it fails to do.

Make sure your WineCfg is routed correctly if you're using the windows version.  Usually to alsa port 128:0
