Hej there,
what happened with ArchPPC? The FTP is dead, I can't reach anyone in the IRC-Channel (#archlinux-ppc, freenode) and no one in my contact list knows what happened. ArchPPC isn't really active developed, what is pity, because there aren't many good Linux-Distributions out for PPC. We (Wynton and I) would like to start a fork/copy of the 'actual' ArchPPC and make it use- and installable. We need some people for testing, building, developing, compiling and someone who can give us an account on the archlinuxppc.org developer area or the JID of the admin.

Thanks,
Nathan and Wynton

looks like there is a news item on the ppc site.

I wouldn't say its dead, hopefully things will pick up again soon. I really want to get more people using it on their Nintendo Wii's.

Yeah, I should probably help it too. Got a ppc machine that needs some love. Maybe we should try to get hold of a couple of the devs and see if some regular meetings could be done.

I've got a PS3 that I'd like to try a PPC port on.

Well, JonimusPrime aka TheStorm and I have been making a Wii version of Arch PPC. Storm has contacted the developers and we might be able to start helping them out. So, there is some hope.
