Great, thanks for the info. I'm going to keep translating.
I'm using Kde's Lokalize, tho.
P.S. Is Sugar_ still working on the Spanish translation?
I'd like to, but I don't know how. I've tried installing poedit and opening your text file from pastebin, but it says it can't convert it to UTF-8. Leafpad says the same for ISO-8859-15 instead of UTF-8 when pasting the content and saving.

Don't start from the pastebin. Download the latest musicmanager tarball or check it out from subversion.
To start a new translation in poedit, you want to use "File -> New catalog from POT file..."
The pot file (which is the template file) is gogglesmm.pot and is located in in the po subdirectory.

Great musicplayer. Its my new default player and i love it. Very fast and comfortable.
What about supporting mpris? http://wiki.xmms2.xmms.se/wiki/MPRIS

It seems like a nice program. It is kind of annoying though that the import-window cannot be sent to the background.
Edit: I am kind of missing a Playing Now view where I can see the current queue tracks.

Yes, I've thought about it but the jury is still out on this one. I do like the idea of one standard interface, but the MPRIS standard has some issues in my opinion...

Yes, currently there are various reasons why it cannot be done differently. I do hope at some point I can fix these issues.

Ctrl-J should jump to the current playing track for now. (until a real playing queue is developed).

WOW this program totally rocks!
Thx alot.
Just one request if it hasnt already been made. It would be superb if you had an option of changing the Sources list and include the option to show all your folders on your HD.
Hope you understand what I mean, but the player is fine as it is also.
Thx once again!!

Really great music player, if you don't need the feature set of amarok ...
Only think i don't like is the win like style that doesn't blend into my desktop and the app icon (too wierd )
If it ain't broke, broke it then fix it.

Thanks, especially for letting us use color schemes. I have a very few minor feature requests which I'm sure you already have in bugzilla/flyspray. 1) Dynamic Playlists 2) Stop after currently playing song or stop after queue.
These are vital features I need in a music manager. I look forward to the play queue; anyone who listens to multilingual music will prefer one language one day and another the next.
Anyhow, I sincerely thank you for your hard work as this is the most promising all-around lightweight music manager in linux for the future.

Ok, this is baffling me -- I hit F11 to put it in mini mode, but now I can't get it out. The icon is in the tray, and if I click it, the window decorations will reappear and put the player in the center of the window instead of undecorated and in the upper left corner. But it's still just the mini player with the player controls and volume, but no other clickable or right clickable options. I can't find any docs that say how to get it back to normal! I'm sure it's obvious! I think (I can't check now!) the only options I changed after install were to add the tray icon and changed the theme to the dark one (obsidian?). Great player!

Hit F11 again

Well, F11 again just puts it back to the middle, just like clicking on the icon, but didn't change the mode back to normal. However, I did figure out that if you click the close-window button, it will return to normal. Weird!

This is how it should work currently:
F11 should toggle between mini and normal mode.
tray icon left mouse button click should show/hide the window (either mini or normal).
close button on normal window should hide the window.
close button on mini window should toggle back to the normal window.
It works for me as intended (XFCE). It might be window manager / desktop environment related. Please see the email I sent.
Thanks.

Hi, just tried your musicplayer at it works great...I've removed exaile and installed yours...Until amarok2 won't have an equalizer, this player would be my default...:D
How do I show all my songs? I mean all my tracks....It only shows the artists and then their album, I would to show my entire library on my playlist...
Great work...Thanks for this app!!!

Either select "All x Artists" and "All x Albums" on top of the artist / album lists, or even easier hide the artist / album browser by toggling [View]->[Browse] (or Ctrl-B).

Yeah the fox toolkit is limited but with the right color scheme it looks great, not to mention it's like a bullet.

Ugh... gmm is giving me issues
At first I didn't care much since I was using an old version but right now i'm using the most recent version.
My issues with gmm:
*insane amount of errors in BASH/Console output: wrong decoder, **** error, FLAC check 0x023020 but the .flac plays just fine
*refuses to play certain .flacs, during a playlist unlist I manually double click each track
*Locks up about 40-60% of the time i'm using gmm on a day, have to kill the process everytime
Please be aware there's NOTHING wrong with my lossless files (all properly ripped EAC and checksummed), plays just fine in foobar or winamp
You want a log of the DEBUG?
EDIT: I'm listening to a score by Harry Gregson williams, track 03 just ended, 2 minutes later nothing.. just pure silence... checked my system (alt-tab) yup gmm crashed again, here's the console output:

To quote from a related topic:
I think this is a ffmpeg bug. It's the ffmpeg library that is spitting this message out. If you remove the xineplug_decode_ff.so from /usr/lib/xine/*, then it will use the libflac decoder instead. Let me know if this works or not.
The only downside of this solution is that you may lose some of the supported fileformats supported by ffmpeg.
