[SOLVED] Problems compiling Wine

I haven't been able to compile wine. The ./configure script produces the following output

checking build system type... x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu

checking for gcc... gcc

checking whether the C compiler works... yes

checking whether we are using the GNU C compiler... yes
checking whether gcc accepts -g... yes
checking for gcc option to accept ISO C89... none needed
checking for g++... g++
checking whether we are using the GNU C++ compiler... yes
checking whether g++ accepts -g... yes
checking for cpp... cpp
checking whether gcc -m32 works... no
configure: error: Cannot build a 32-bit program, you need to install 32-bit development libraries.

I have installed lib32. What other library is missing?

Are you using one of the bin32-wine-* packages from aur?

I got the files (PKGBUILD and bin32-wine.install) but I don't know what exactly to do with them.

Thanks, that helped me to understand a lot. I'll reboot and see whether the program starts to work.
