I've been running Arch on my Dell Vostro 1310 ever since I purchased it but have one issue and that is the integrated webcam. After examining my Dmesg it seems that the system somewhat recognizes the device but Cheese doesn't detect it at all. While I do not consider myself a noob anymore with getting stuff to work with Linux I am totally new to webcams (first laptop that has had an integrated webcam). Below you can find the Dmesg, lsmod, and lsusb information collected from my machine. I greatly appreciate any help!

I appreciate the link but after just testing it no dice.

Did you load the correct modules?

Did you try other programs beside Cheese?

The problem the entire time for me wasn't the microdia-git module it was the fact that my user wasn't added to the video group. I also figured out that my webcam worked perfectly with the uvcvideo module and oddly enough not the microdia-git module. I apologize for the "n00bness" and appreciate the help.
