I couldn't find anything else like this out there, so I whipped this guy up. Based on pacupdate, with no dependencies other than Python, PacMail periodically checks pacman for updates and sends an email using any SMTP server to any email address. This is really useful if you have Arch on a server and don't feel like logging in all the time to check pacman.
You can get it with a yaourt -S pacmail or by visiting the AUR page, or you can play with the code at Google Code.
