It has to be said cpan4pacman is seriously good work. There is however one little bit of icing the cake needs... and that is to automatically add the packages made to a pacman accessible repository to make life really really easy!
It would also be nice if on a major perl upgrade we could get it to check and rebuild all packages, updating either major release or package release

Benedict_White - please don't resurrect threads that have been inactive for 6 months or more. You can start a new thread, and link to this one if necessary.
In this case, you are suggesting additional functionality, so the best option is to post a feature request in the bugtracker, under the Community Packages project.
