[Solved] Error: pacman cannot find a file in /var/lib/pacman/sync/

Today while doing the usual pacman -Syu I was greeted with the following:

$ sudo pacman -Syu

Proceed with installation? [Y/n]

This is the first time I see one of these so I'm not sure how to fix it, I believe it will be wise to fix this before adding, updating or removing anything.
Please advise how to proceed with this one.

Edit:
Marked as solved

refresh your database with pacman -Syy.

Re: [Solved] Error: pacman cannot find a file in /var/lib/pacman/sync/

Thank you for you lightning fast reply smile
The problem is now solved but I needed to select another mirror, the one I was using had something broken it seems.

If I change to the "good" mirror and pacman -Syy all is well, if I revert to the "bad" mirror and pacman -Syy then I get this error again.
It was the first time I ever had this sort of problem with that "bad" mirror, I don't know if this sort of things happens to mirrors sometimes so I'm just leaving the info here, hopefully it may help someone else in the future.
