Hey,
I accidentally just deleted 95% of my music collection (50+gig), instead of deleting all the .m3u files like I was planning on doing. I did:
find /media/maxtor/Music -delete -iname '*.m3u'
...which I now know is the wrong way around. Is there any way to save it or am I going to have to start recollecting it all? It's on a fat32 drive.
Cheers,
Simon

Since the drive is FAT32, use some Windows utility to recover your files.

thats a bummer man, i did something similar last week took about 3 full days to recollect every custom song. Now I always duplicate and on different machines as well, just in case the apocalyse happens.

Hmm... just curious, but what exactly went wrong with that command? I'm a noob with find.
