ok the problem is in the 8th line you have # IN IT BEFORE MEDIA TAKE THAT OUT SO IT LOOKS LIKE
/dev/scd0 /media/dvd auto ro,user,noauto,unhide 0 0

And God created the Open Source Programming Community, and it was good. Satan retaliated with its evil twin, Windows and thus the battle for good and evil has begun.

There is a fine line. This distro is also called Arch for a reason, notice how it is not called ubuntu!
You gave the incompetent op an answer in post #28. If he/she can't figure out what to do from that post, he/she should not be using Arch. The op should have at least had enough knowledge to know the # sign represents a comment!
From The Arch Way wiki entry:
Arch Linux targets and accommodates competent GNU/Linux users by giving them complete control and responsibility over the system.

Well maybe now that you just got out of high school you could learn when to just keep your mouth shut. It is easier to just do that than start some type of random flame war. I agree with what you are saying but it is still just none of your buisness.

It is my business because post like these degrade from the quality of the forums. Also we get a ton of posts like these which burry other topics that are warranted.
If a user can not help themselves they simply should not be using arch!
