[SOLVED] Pulseaudio volume too low

Hey,

Anyone know how to pump up the volume in pulseaudio?.

It works but the volume is really low even if I turn it up to maximum.

I was using alsa until a kernel update made it stutter. Now i have alsa mixer and pulseaudio.

edit:alsamixer -c 0 fixed it

Also in case this helps anyone the sound was stuttering in vlc at startup then ok.
opened volume control and set mixer to alsa.

It's confusing..my sound is pulse but i use an alsa mixer. it sounds great now but i dont really understand it.
