Merging article "Nfs" and "NFSv4"?

Hi all,

the wiki articles "Nfs" and "NFSv4" have been suggested for a merger and I'd agree. Now, I know that you're supposed to have these discussions on the discussions pages but nobody ever looks there and I want to get work done so I'll post about it here.

Merging both articles doesn't seem to be much work and in addition, both articles need to be updated anyhow because using portmap is not valid anymore.

My question is: Why is there a "Nfs" article to begin with since it obviously addresses NFSv3 which no Arch user is going to use due to Arch being a rolling distro.
Can some NFS step ahead and tell me if that old article is still necessary or can it be directly replaced by "NFSv4"?
