executables are there when first pass build is compiled successfully. Your problem should be resolved easily - uncomment ldflags2.patch in pkgbuild
Sorry I didn't read the PKGBUILD
Thanks, I'll try tomorrow.

Because i686 is working fine All problems are connected with x86-64

I vote to keep firefox-pgo around for a bit. Never know when someone may need it.

I was able to compile on x86_64 using gcc-snapshot 20090604 (note: this is an older version than what is in aur). The only issue (and for me a big issue) is that printing does not work. The dialog boxes will not show, and I don't get any errors. Printing works fine in other gtk programs, however.
I am trying to compile again with the latest gcc-snapshot, but I am expecting it to fail like everyone else

Hmm, I got this to compile on x86_64 using the latest gcc snapshot.
EDIT: I didn't clean the src dir out, so it might have used pieces of my old build... so ignore this for right now

I will upload old pkgbuild in this topic.
Makepkg halts after compilation
I've never seen such problem before... It somehow cannot run ff for profiling, but why?

If I remember correctly, printing is disabled in mozconfig

If it worked with 0606 snapshot, it should work with newest - there is a hack in mozconfig, that maked that possible.

Are you using gtk-qt as your gtk theme by any chance? There is a bug in it that makes firefox not quit correctly.

Because i686 is working fine All problems are connected with x86-64
obviously this doesn't detect I'm using i686:
arch=('i686' 'x86_64')
license=('MPL' 'GPL' 'LGPL')
if [ "${CARCH}" = 'i686' ]; then
makedepends=('zip' 'pkgconfig' 'diffutils' 'python' 'xorg-server' 'imagemagick' 'alsa-lib' 'file' 'autoconf-compat')
else
makedepends=('zip' 'pkgconfig' 'diffutils' 'python' 'xorg-server' 'imagemagick' 'alsa-lib' 'file' 'autoconf-compat' 'gcc-snapshot')
fi
will now try manually removing 'gcc-snapshot' and try a re-compile.

Could you check if it compiles ff using gcc-4.4 or gcc-4.5?

Could you give me a binary of the package? Thx

Thats possible, i use Chakra. Is there any way to turn this temporary off, or i must unistall it ?

blasse, I uncommented the ldflags2 patch in the PKGBUILD, but I keep getting errors about checksum mismatches. I'm on i686 and running gcc 4.4.0-3.
Thanks
PS: Can someone please post the binary package for i686?

I have a PGO build of 3.6a1pre (20090702) for core2 cpu if you want.

According to mozilla bugzilla this patch should resolve problem....
btw. just to note it - firefox with enabled official branding cannot be distributed as binary

im using 4.4 and still getting the profile error.

I commented ac_add_options --disable-printing and even added ac_add_options --enable-printing
However it seems if I'm still without printing support. Any idea?
EDIT: I realized that mozconfig.x86 is for x86_64 which is misleading! Blasse can you rename mozconfig_x86 to mozconfig.x86_64? Also do you think you can make printing a default, as that is something many use and expect to be able to do from a web browser.

Well, I will try once again with the latest snapshot of gcc . I'm using x86_64, and I always get the same error of make.
