imac newbie xwindows question

been running arch on pc's for some time, but have old imac (slot loading, 400MHz g3) that was running 10.4. install arch with lastest iso with ftp install. a thing of beauty (no fuss, no muss). i did pacman -S xorg, but no startx nor manager and couldn't find any guidence for installing xfce or ice (something lightweight for my aging system). ps: when trying to launch xwindows the log gripes about not finding ati ot fbdev modules...

also did pacman -S icewm...

update:
after installing rage, fbdev not loaded error message when trying to launch x windows...

after installing fbdev, can not run in framebuffer mode, please specify busIDs for all framebuffer devices error message when trying to launch x windows...

Did you have a look at the beginners guide (Xorg install)? It mostly helps,also for PPC computers.
