Maybe it's a silly question but is firefox 3.5 planned for i686 architecture? now in repos is only 64-bit version for some time and i was surprised to see no i686 version. Thanks.
Windows works in 80 % cases, Linux in 20%, but you can make linux work in other 80% cases whilst you can never make windows work in last 20%

no, 64bit only such as arch

We are so upset that Mozilla does not support JIT on x86_64 that we dropped the i686 version. 64 Bit ftw!
PS: ;-)

don't remember that i686 is deprecated?

Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

/me thinks the i686 processors are too old to compile that big beast of firefox

32bit per core, so yeah
now being serious.... i686 is not being dropped. ff3.5 for i686 will be built when the time comes.. heck, ive got 600mb of updates (uncompressed) on hold for other reasons, i guess devs are taking care of that first (which breaks stuff) before updating ff. but thats a wild guess.

@cliffbreaker i was joking man. don't have to use x86_64.
the best answer that i can give is that nobody compile yet the i686 version.
