[SOLVED] Error msg that I can't mount external drive, but I can!

I'm having this weird problem. Every time I plug in my external USB hard drive and fire up thunar (I'm using xmonad), I get this error message that says I don't have privileges to mount the drive and that the mounting failed:

MountProblem.png?t=1246634997

The thing is I can mount, read, and write to the drive (i've been tinkering with ntfs-3g options for a while). I just want to get rid of this stupid error message. What can I do?

Thanks so much! I kept searching for the specific error I got and nothing came up! It was the "Permission Denied" section where you edit the PolicyKit file that worked for me.
