VideoLan restart my system when i try to play a file...

i don't know why
i don't use compiz
i use xf86-openchrome-svn as card driver on xorg
any idea?

Can you give an exact report of what happens? Perhaps you could start Videolan from a terminal and try to save the output in order to post it here. Are only videos causing problems or does your computer restart everytime you start the program?

u have to delete the /home/user/.config/vlc folder
then if it still does that delete the /home/user/*

yep
i deleted it
if i try to play a file with VLC or totem-xine, i exit from graphic server and i have to login
the system doesn't restart...gdm does
i don't know how looking for error
i'm totally lost...
