SSH Tunneled X Windows

I can SSH into a server just fine and the X windows display fine. However, they always seem to open on the edge where two workspaces meet, overlapping just enough (only a few pixels) to make them visible on both workspaces.  Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks,
zeug.

Wait, what?  You're using Gnome, I presume, and your window is visible in e.g. both workspace 1 (on the right side of the screen) and workspace 2 (on the left side of the screen)?  Could you post a screenshot?

Re: SSH Tunneled X Windows

The windows shows up on workspace one.  When I switch to workspace two the you can just see (only a few pixels width) the edge of this window and it shows up in the window list in the GNOME Panel.

Re: SSH Tunneled X Windows

It doesn't seem like tunneling should make a difference. Those apps don't do the same thing when run locally or when the X server is on the remote machine?

Re: SSH Tunneled X Windows

The application I am running of the server I am connecting to is not on my computer.  Other applications that run on my computer have not done this before, it just seems to be these IDL windows I am tunneling from the server.
