Perpetual Reboot

Just done a system upgrade including the latest kernel update,
now when I try to reboot its starts on grub then when it gets to uncompressing Linux it reboots and does the same again over and over,
this also happens in the fallback mode as well any ideas please

I,m sorry I did not realise there was another thread on this problem.
I,ve copied/paste the back up images in the boot menu but that did not work kept getting root not found
so I repasted the original images back and walla its booting as it should don't know what i've done not a clue but it works.
