firefox and xulrunner update, fail to work around package dependencies

Hi everybody,

I would like to install the latest release of firefox.  I got the tarball for firefox from AUR.  When trying to resolve the dependencies for the new firefox, an error occored, as it faild to update xulrunner, as it was used by the current firefox.  I therefore deinstalled both firefox and xulrunner, got the new xulrunner tarball form AUR and now I am facing the below problem:

xulrunner-1.9.1 $ sudo pacman -U xulrunner-1.9.1-1.9.1-1-i686.pkg.tar.gz
loading package data...

Optional dependencies for xulrunner-1.9.1

xulrunner-1.9.1 $ cd ../firefox-branded
firefox-branded $ makepkg -s

xulrunner>=1.9.1 package not found, searching for group...
error: 'xulrunner>=1.9.1': not found in sync db

firefox-branded $

What can I do?!

Thanks for any help!

Cheers,
Thomas

Re: firefox and xulrunner update, fail to work around package dependencies

whats with the package version of your xulrunner? 1.9.1-1.9.1. should just be 1.9.1-1

why not just install it from the repo?

Re: firefox and xulrunner update, fail to work around package dependencies

Xulrunner version 1.9.1 is in repo and it isth one needed by firefox-branded, not xulruner-1.9.1-1.9.1 from AUR.
