xorg & evedev

I've tried to use abs to build xorg - including applying the evdev patches (see http://www.linux-gamers.net/modules/wfs … ticleid=46 for more information on the patches and why I want to apply them...).

The patches seem to work OK - except that they appear to break the Makefile.  The makepkg exits with the error: make: *** No rule to make target `World'.  Stop.

I guess this could be a problem with the makefile, but I'm guessing it's more likely to d owith the patches.

Is anyone able to point me in the direction in terms of figuring out how to patch and succesfully build xorg with evdev?

Re: xorg & evedev

I've commented out the patching and, after doing a makepkg -C to clean it all out (and deleteding the directories created by the build), I tried again and still get this error - so it may not be caused by the patches...

Re: xorg & evedev

post the build.

it sounds like you are not in the root directory ..... or the directory that has the Makefile.
