Hi, I'm trying to make an old mp3 player work with Arch. It's a Creative Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra. When I plug it in I get this in /var/log/messages.log:
Jul 7 21:33:28 archangel kernel: usb 1-5: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 9
Jul 7 21:33:28 archangel kernel: usb 1-5: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
Jul 7 21:33:28 archangel load-modules.sh: 'usb:v041Ep4128d0100dcFFdsc00dp00ic00isc00ip00' is not a valid module or alias name
Any ideas on what could be wrong?

Hmm... looks like it's just a warning, because I can connect to it with gnomad2 running as root. Maybe it's a permission issue.

I too have to run gnomad2 as root to access files on my Zen Xtra. As far as I remember, it has always required root privileges, so I don't think it's a major issue.
