Boot after update.

After the last update, i have kinda strange and annoying bug.
Everything starts ok, but when is the time to start gdm it just hangs up untill i press enter...
I thought it was problems with gdm configs. Checked everything and at last i installed Slim. Problem is still there.
I tried booting without any extra modules, only with hal.. no effect.
There no error messages,
last string in tty1 output: Starting mpd [DONE]. Then i press Enter and get a gdm login screen.
Maybe problems with updated module-init-tools(tried to downgrade, but it kills the system), or kernel2.6.30?

Re: Boot after update.

did it work with earlier kernel ?

Is /etc/rc.conf the same ? Did you build the modules again for this kernel ?

Re: Boot after update.

yep, rc.conf is the same. I cant downgrade kernel to earlear verision because of many programs wich depend on 2.6.30 kernel. Before update ( 2.6.29 kernel) it was alright.

And when i start gdm by /etc/rc.d/ it starts ok, but the process of shutdown is buggy. No log messages and gdm stopping is failed....
