I have a request!

I think we need a font setting gui for lightweight WM's.

Every time I do a new install, I struggle figuring out the right antialiasing and subpixel rendering settings, etc. The big DE's have a GUI that makes the changes immediately so you can really watch the difference and it makes it much easier.

How feasible would it be to code something like that up that could be used for lightweight WM set ups?

Re: I have a request!

try trying "the big de's" gui's in your "lighweight WM's" tongue not saying it is going to work, but worth a shot.

Well, the problem with that is that you usually have to be running some settings daemon or some such from that DE.

All I would want is a GUI that would change .fonts.config or whatever.

I might take a stab at it in a few weeks, when my work lightens up.
