x86_64 arch here (up to date)
Trying to do anything with wine, (install a game, winecfg) produces an error and wine does not start. I get this error messege (can provide backtrace if necessary):
*** glibc detected *** winecfg.exe: munmap_chunk(): invalid pointer: 0xf7f23018 ***
I also get this at the end of the backtrace. Not sure if it's another error or part of the backtrace itself:
err:module:attach_process_dlls "winspool.drv" failed to initialize, aborting
err:module:LdrInitializeThunk Main exe initialization for L"C:\\windows\\system32\\winecfg.exe" failed, status 80000101
I have an nvidia card, and am using the latest nvidia drivers
local/lib32-nvidia-utils 185.18.14-1 (lib32)
NVIDIA drivers utilities and libraries.
local/nvidia 185.18.14-1
NVIDIA drivers for kernel26.
local/nvidia-utils 185.18.14-1
NVIDIA drivers utilities and libraries.
Is anyone else having this problem?
edit: I've tried reinstalling glibc, wine, removing my .wine folder, and running as root

Is there this error with other programs too? What's the name of this game to try out ?

It's not just games, it's anything I try to install through wine. The game is the fallout trilogy (1,2,tactics), but it happens with anything (steam for example). As far as I know, this is the only program that crashes with this specific error

Hmm. Did you try bin32-wine-stable or suse at all?
