k3b Unable to find growisofs executable

Getting this error even though i have dvd+rw-tools already installed from pacman, and it resides in /usr/bin/ as normal

it's also part of the search path, yet still cant find it. I need it to burn dvds.

Please help

well is there anything in the k3b config files that shows where it is looking for the executable that you can change?

your other option is to just use growisofs at the cli which is really not a hard thing to do.

Well i would prefer to do it in GUI since it's more user friendly. I was wondering whether there are other ppl running into this trouble or is this a bug?

just to make sure ... you are using the newest versions of k3b and dvd+rw... , right?

Hi dammit and dp.

This error messsage ('Unable to find growisofs executable.') appears when you run 'sudo k3b' but not as a regular user or root.
